Blog 7: Music

Hi, everybody, I hope you're all doing very well.

In this blog I will comment about my favorite music or song.

It's a difficult topic to talk about, because I really love all music, which cause different sensations. I don't know what we would do without music, since every song is essential and genuine.

I love music local, Latin American music, especially those that are positioned in a historical context, with social repercussions, of decolonization of subjectivity.  But in general, I like all music, I listen to rock, Latin rock, reggae, Ska, country, folk, reggaeton, pop, folk rock, indie rock, rap, R&R. 

I still think that it is difficult to choose a type of music, so I will choose some artists that I listen to more often, for example; Los fabulosos Cadillacs, Los Auténticos Decadentes, Violeta Parra, Celia Cruz, Jorge Gonzales, Anita Tijoux, Camila Gallardo, linkin park, Guns N' Roses, imagine dragons, the weeknd, Dread Mar-I, Passenger, ed sheeran, OneRepublic, Sech, Ozuna, Sia, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, among others.

This time I will choose a song called Somewhere Only We Know - Keane. I like it because I give a meaning to this song, because I think it deals with the importance of the simple things, which we often leave aside and then miss, in the form of memories or moments, like the places of childhood, family, or so many simple things that make up life...
